A few months ago I bought two disposable cameras just for fun. When I was a kid this was the type of cameras you would buy when you were going on a trip. Nowadays people bring their best cameras, iPhones, GoPros… It looses the importance of the moment. People always try to get the best picture “I don’t like my hair in this photo”, “Wait there’s someone walking behind you”, “I look horrible”. You’ve probably said some of this things. I love taking pictures with my Polaroid camera for that reason, I don’t try to take a perfect photo, I just want to capture a moment.
I’m going to show the photos from when I got the camera (November) till the last photo (May) and explain the story behind the photo. Enjoy.
Me and my friends on a Friday night.
I made a post about this day. My friend Julia and I went to el Parc de la Ciutadella to eat next to the lake and talk about life. It was a great day.
Winter sunsets are beautiful. The colors are more vibrant and they blend together.
I made a video of Dubai if you want to see it
The Dubai skyline. The picture on the left is the city covered by pollution and dust and the picture on the right is the skyline (try to see it very closely) and the hotel Burj Al Arab.
Me on the tallest building in the world, Burj Khalifa.
Me in a random beach in Sharjah. Behind me, you can see the Persian Gulf.
Random photos I took in the Emirates.
Palm trees in Sharjah.
The desert of Dubai.
Me and my friend Lucia. She is au pairing in Wicklow for a year and I really miss her. It was a random night where we ate sushi on the floor, we sneaked in a lot of places we shouldn’t have and ended up in a bar in downtown Barcelona in the middle of the night. And then when we took the train back home we started singing songs from the Beatles, the funny thing is that no one told us to shut up.
Betty and I on Christmas Eve.
A restaurant in Barcelona. My sister and I have always planned to do Route 66, it’s the number one thing on my bucket list.
I was either drunk or someone took this photos for me because I have no idea where/what this is, but they look cool nonetheless
When my sister and I went to London for my 18th birthday. The last two pictures are in Hyde Park. I made a video of London if you want to see it.
I made a blog post about this day. I’ve known Ines since we were 5, we’ve been through a lot together, and I mean A LOT. I was there when her parents got divorced when she was 6, and she was there when my parents got divorced when I was 13. Our sophomore year of high school is a year to remember. We got into so much trouble and we did so many things we shouldn’t have done that I can’t count them all. I love this girl.
GIRL POWER 🌹
Mom jeans, fishnet socks and milk and honey in my balcony. Little moments of happiness.
The walk I do when I walk my dog. I love nature so much and I appreciate that I’m able to see this every day. Barcelona is an amazing city, you have the beach, you have the mountain, a forest, this types of landscapes, buildings… It has everything.
My brother Jose.
The last three photos I took. I don’t know why but this are my favorite. I think it’s the mixture between the vintage effect, my dog, and the flowers. Being able to walk my dog every single day here is like a dream.
